OHS Devotion: 'Two Me'

Olivet High School (OHS) students, starting from grades 8-11 have joined the afternoon Bible study this past Thursday. The teacher was Pastor James Lee, who taught from the book of Romans 3:21.

The topic discussed was the sin within man that there are "two me(s)" within. The Israelites kept the law but sin always led them to commit sins. "We need to avoid sin because with the sins we cannot please God. If you love God then you need to have hatred towards evil and sin," said the Bible study teacher.

In all, the righteousness of God has been revealed. What removes the sin is the law or the sacrifice. The sacrifice is automatic removes sin.

In summary, it was shared that the more one knows the law the more one sins.

The Lent period is the time to remember this.
