OTM Zambia Enters Study on Romans 5
Olivet Teen Mission Zambia members persist in joining Romans Bible study lessons held at Olivet High School. On May 6th, brother Mathews, Thomson and sister Mary joined the program.
They focused on Romans 5:1-11. The topic was about how to have peace with God. Apostle Paul shared that being put right with God means to be reconciled with God. He said to remember that once you were sinners but now you have been put right with God.
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God." (Romans 5:1-2)
"Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." (Romans 5:3-5)
Brother Mathews asked who the Holy Spirit is, Paul said it is the gift of God. In summary Paul explained believers have been justified by faith and saved by grace. So how much more then shall they be saved from the wrath of God, through Jesus Christ.
Let us continue to pray for them, may they grow well in the truth of God.
